during monsoon , the rain reduce some of the summer heat, specialty in places like Jammu. jammu sees quite a bit of rainfall actually and can become quite humid although Srinagar remains comfortably cool. however not all parts of Kashmir get rainfall equally and thus the weather also varis quite a bit.
