Recently I have celebrated the festival with my family members.
• The name of the festival is Sankranthi it is also called Pongal in Tamil Nadu. In Andhra Pradesh, it is called Sankranthi.
• Sankranthi festival celebrated on 14th or 15th January every year.
• Sankranthi is a big festival for South Indians. This is a harvest festival. This festival is dedicated to God Sun.

Festival:
The name of the festival is Diwali, it the festive of lights and sweets. This major festival is celebrated as Indian irrespective of the religion. From this festival, all the people celebrate is death of evil and life of goodness.
This festival was celebrated around October of every year which is a rainy season. Children and adults together burst crackers and enjoy the sweets. The gifts will be passed from one family to another.
During Diwali, people visit their native with crackers. All prepare handmade sweets which were passed to the relatives and neighbors irrespective of the religion. The children gather to burst the crackers and enjoy the sweetness with the sweets of the festival. When all the children enjoy, the love filling that place is overwhelming.
I enjoy this festival a lot as it bring all the people together with fun. It makes my heart feel complete. I always anticipate Diwali.
