The killing of girl child being a sin , is unhesitatingly committed in India. People don't even care about the law of the country and have an ultrasound in order to know the gender of the foetus . They kill her just because they don't want to admit in this narrow minded society that a girl is born in their family. They are ready to be behind bars but they are not ready to accept a girl child. Many places in Haryana , Rajasthan and other parts of our country are such where this silent slaughter has continued. They kill without realizing that they are creating an imbalance in nature, on the earth.
I wait for the day when the mind sets of this so called "society" will change and girls can breathe in the air of freedom.
