God made the world so bright, beautiful and totally pollution free. It is man who polluted all the clear rills and streams. The mountains too were covered with pristine verdure before man's selfishness denuded them. Undoubtedly, the green and industrial revolutions were indispensable. But what man did was foolish mess up with nature. If he were futuristic in his approach, he would have ensured decontamination of the effluents and poisonous particles that went for decades into the pure streams, rivers and oceans and into the atmosphere. He could have avoided the catastrophes by being proactive; by being more industrious. But alas! His selfishness and greed blinded him Now he himself is the victim of his own carelessness. It is not too late still. He can restore the purity of these poisoned rivers and bare mountains by making honest and advanced pollution control policies and implementing them conscientiously.
