The book 'Looking For Alaska' is written by John Green. This was his first book, which was released in 2005. The book narretes a story about solving a case of suicide by Alaska, a friend of Pudge and Colonel. Pudge and colonel become friends in the beginning of the book where colonel introduces pudge to alaska and they become cool friends. Alaska is moody which is sort of reason for her suicide. This was the first book by John green but after reading this 'young-adult fiction' it was clear that he has a lot of stories to share with this small world. So did he with his blockbuster book 'Fault in our stars'. Lines which got me; "If people were rain, I'd be drizzle and she'd be hurricane." The best part is John Green is expert in making emotional connections with you and the characters, I cried, literally, for a 'fictional character' when it committed suicide. (I don't cry in real life) and John green does it in all of his books.
I highly recommend you to read this book.
