A memorable day of my life.

We all have many pleasant and memorable days of my life. This one day, in April was my best day.

I had given an olympiad in the month of December last year. It was a maths Olympiad. This April, the results were declared. Our teacher was distributing the certificates when she called out my name and asked the whole class to applaud for me. I was confused why did she ask the whole class. Turns out, I achieved 2nd Rank at state level and 5th rank at International level! I was befuddled; Yet I was probably the happiest person on the Earth at that moment. I recieved a gold medal for class topper and silver for state topper. 2 days after was the investiture ceremony. My name was called on the stage with class 3rd, 4th and 5th spectating the event. The principal ma'am congratulated me. I was glad to recieve the medal and the prize of Rs. 5000. My subject teachers congratulated me when I came to class. My maths teacher praised me and told me to keep it up. That was surely my best day ever!

Answer:

Our life is a combination of memorable days. Out of all those days, some days are forgotten while some are very special & heart touching that we cannot forget them & they remain fresh in our minds. Memories make us feel like we are in heaven.

The memorable day of my life would be the day when I came to know I was the second to score the highest in commerce in my town. I could not believe my ears as I never dreamed of such achievements. It was the most memorable day of my life because I was able to see the happiness in my mother’s eyes. I thought she would cry. But she didn’t. She gave me a warm hug and told me she knew I could do this. That day I realized my mother knew me more than me.
