NSHM Business School, Durgapur had organised an educational excursion on 3rdApril for the MBA and BBA students. The trip included a visit to the Uttarayan and Santiniketan Griha, Viswa Bharati University, Shonajhuri Haat and Amar Kutir. The students learnt about the concept of “Beyond the Classroom Teachings” at the schools in Santiniketan where learning among nature is encouraged. A traditional Bengali lunch was arranged in “Shakuntala Restaurant” inside Shonajhuri Haat which was followed by some mesmerizing “Baul” music. The trip ended with a lovely view of the sunset at the famous “Kopai River” which is part of the Tagore’s fanous poem “Amader Choto Nodi” in Bengali.
