When we live by moral values right from childhood, they become a part of our lives, and help us do the right and save ourselves from wrong. Moral values help us take right decisions in life's trying situations, and sail through life easily as they give us a sense of direction and purpose.Moral values are the morals and ethics that govern the way we conduct our life. A righteous and virtuous life is one where we live by moral values. Honesty and truthfulness are important moral values. Being honest and truthful requires courage and boldness. Just as it requires courage to say the truth, it also requires fearlessness to not speak a lie. Contentment and honesty also help us not steal what belongs to another. If we steal others’ belongings, others may rob us of our belongings. Respecting others and being just are also moral values we should imbibe and live by.
