Last month our class teacher took us for a picnic. It was a lovely experience.
We went to a garden near our school. We were asked to carry some food. Some of us carried fruits, some carried cakes, and some carried snacks. We also took along bats, balls, and other games.
In the morning, we boarded our school bus and left for the rock garden. Once we reached there, our teacher helped us to select a comfortable place to sit. After eating fruits, we played a lot of games. Our teacher also played with us. After that, she took us for a walk round the garden.
In the afternoon, we were all hungry and tired. We sat together and had our lunch. Then our teacher read out lovely stories. We all sat together listening to her. After an hour she justtook us back to the bus and we all came back to the school.
I will never forget this picnic, as this was the first time that I went for a picnic with my school friends and had great fun.
( or ) Picnics are liked by everyone, but children especially jump for joy when the word is mentioned. That is what happened to us when we learnt that a few families from our colony had planned on a day’s outing to the nearby Park.
The exciting day arrived and we packed ourselves and all the picnic gear into a van and set off. We had already booked a guest house for the day. We children quickly freshened ourselves and ran to play in the grounds.
When all our parents were ready, we walked to a small river nearby to picnic in its banks. Then the elders chose a place where the water was only two or three feet deep.
After that we had a hearty lunch of some of the tastiest things that our mothers had ever prepared. We then went around the National Park itself. it was very tiring, but we were thrilled when we saw a herd of elephants in the distance. We also saw several colorful birds and even a green snake.
We returned to the guest house and played some more games till evening. By then we were thoroughly tired. The warm bed after the ride home was very welcome. It was one of the happiest days of my life, and I will always cherish its memory.

◆◆"NEW YEAR PICNIC"◆◆
I went for a picnic to celebrate this new year at my uncle's farmhouse with my family.
There is a large courtyard in front of my uncle's farmhouse. There is a garden and a swimming pool as well.
All my family members decorated the garden for New Year's Eve. My brother had arranged for a DJ.
As night approached, new year celebrations began. We all gathered in the garden.We ate different tasty dishes
After some time we entered the swimming pool. We had a lot of fun there. Then we all started dancing to the songs played by the DJ.
Time passed by and it was 12o'clock.Everyone started shouting,screaming with excitement and wished each other a happy new year.
In this way, I celebrated this New Year picnic with great pomp.
