Santosh Yadav was the only woman in the world to scale Mount Everest twice in less than a year. She was born on 10 October 1967 in a very small village in India named Joniyawas of Rewari District in Haryana. From a very young age, Santosh began to live life on her own terms. She wanted to get a proper education. In 1999, Santosh Yadav led an Indian mountaineering expedition of kangshang face, Mt. Everest. In 2001, she led mountaineering team of east face, Mt. Everest.
