Write a paragraph on the homecoming
Answers
Explanation:
During the Homecoming game Bridget, Melody, Nathan, Nina, Kaitlyn, and I were taking a bunch of just, good memory photos. Pictures we are going to look back on and think to ourselves...‘what were we doing?’ and ‘why?’. On the bright side, laughing was the only thing that kept us warm during the game, so naturally, we kept laughing. Honestly, it was about weird, weird stuff, Finding Nemo was one of them, (“Nemo’s shwimming out to shea!”) The game wasn’t pretty. The first half was 50-0. But the second half we held them at 50 points and we even scored a touchdown! The final score was 50-8.
Descriptive:
Kaitlyn and I agreed to wear striped socks for spirit day. They were vertically stretched, lower thigh to upper knee length. Pink and black aligned themselves up and down along the left sock. The right sock was striped with gold and black. The socks were thin to the touch. Almost as if they were tights. They have a tip around the toe area, but not around the heel. And lastly, they had a thicker black stripe at the top of the sock.
Persuasive:
I believe that the Student Council should have for one of the days, for next year’s homecoming week, Game Day. Not only was it the most original and one of the few that haven’t been repeated much, it also had the most entertaining results (Katie P. and Taylor Z.). It also pushed us students, to become more creative. If you don’t have a costume, let your creative juices flow and create something!
Expository:
Year after year the freshman class has stepped up to the plate and exceeded the expectations. The freshman class has almost always won the homecoming competitions. Homecoming week has rolled around once again and this year, we, are the freshman class. The theme for this year’s hallway is ‘life is a game’. Each class was assigned with a task to make their hallway look the best, but dressed as a board game. The Seniors’ decorated a car with purple and gold paint and, their hallway as Monopoly. The Juniors’ hallway was a Guess Who theme. The Sophomores’ used Candyland as their theme, and it turned out very, very good. Our hallway (freshman hallway) is Clue. In my opinion our hallway was, decent. But the problem was the lunch time competitions. The Seniors and Sophomores are leading with the Freshman in dead last. Friday, the results came in. Freshman: 4th, Sophomores: 3rd, Juniors: 2nd, and Seniors on top in 1st place.
