Recently, I along with my friends participated in a Run for Health Marathon. It was a memorable experience and participating with friends made it fun too. A 2 km long run, which wasn't exhausting or difficult for me due to my routine of jogging the same distance every day. Though two of my friends became exhausted quite early during the run. The run was initiated by P.T. Usha by cutting the ribbon. All participants were given T-shirts for their active participation in the marathon and we're also given Bournvita drinks after the run was over as Bournvita was the sponsor of the marathon. As the main agenda behind this marathon was to increase awareness among people regarding their health, so, a short speech was also presented by Miss P.T. Usha in favour of the topic and she enumerated a few practices for good health which is a must follow for everyone who wants to stay fit and healthy. I wasn't much confident about my winning but was happy when secured first place and won the winner's trophy. All in all, it was a quite good and refreshing experience for everyone.

I have participated on the Run For Health marathon along with my friends. It was a very good experience and we had a lot of fun over there. Before the marathon has started the participants were given Bournvita shakes and energy bars as it had sponsored the marathon. Ms. P.T Usha gave a speech on good health practices and she included some exercises and yoga as well as good routine followed by the cutting of ribbon by P.T Usha to start the race. The marathon had a two km run, and we have to come back in 3 minutes to the finishing point. The one who reached first would be declared as the winner. There were cheerleaders all around. I had no idea and was very nervous before the race but eventually, I won the race by winning the first prize ad trophy. I was very excited when I got the awards, my friends were also awarded with really good prizes. And lastly , T- Shirts were given to all the participants.
