Everyone has a busy life schedule and need time for themselves, to themselves. We often crave for this alone-time. Television is yet another form of entertainment to distract us, to tell us a story, set in a background and the media often offers its views on certain topics and people. Television tries to dump them into our head and we readily absorb them. Books on the other hand, are spectacular and phenomenally written, beautifully designed and unfurl the characters and plots in great length. Books have wide imagination in them, fiction and non-fiction and absorb us totally. It draws us to it. We are completely zoned out for some time , breaking the boundaries of our confined world whereas television creates conflicts in our already loaded head. Constantly switching channels, surfing, watching advertisements can be too boring and we tend to lose interest. Books have the power to make us think, believe and realise what limits are there in life and we explore the wide imagination of others, expanding ours alongside
