India is one of the most developing nations presently in the world but when we look at the figures related to Human Development Index, India is still very far from developed nations' list on several parameters. India has shown great improvement on the life expectancy, infant mortality, and literacy rate in the 2011 census. There are several factors in which we have to work on, some of these are: Lack of proper healthcare, drinking water, sanitation and nutrition especially in rural areas. India needs to develop facilities to improve on these parameters so that it can become a developed nation.

India is a very vast country. It has a large population. It has been doing great for it's development since independence. But still it needs many more steps and actions to be a highly developed country. Even after 70 years of independence it need much more to achieve.

It still lags behind on several human development parameters such as infant morality , literacy and life expectancy. The approximate number of children who die before completing one year is very high. This signals at the lack of proper facilities of healthcare , sanitation , drinking water , nutrition and sanitation given in our country.

A very high number of children are malnourished in India. The condition of rural India is worse than that of urban India.

#Hence India needs to develop facilities to improve on these parameters to become a highly developed country.
