Hey there!

Zaid crops :

Zaid crops are grown on irrigated fields which do not have to wait for monsoons. They are grown in the time between the Rabi and the Kharif crops i.e. , from March to June. Zaid crops require warm and dry weather and also they need longer day length for flowering. Examples - Cucumber, pumpkin , bitter gourd etc.
