 Let \: the \: abscissa \: of \:a \: point = x

/* According to the problem given */

 Ordinate (y) = 3x

 Now ,\red{ Coordinates \:of \:the \:point }

 \green { ( x, 3x ) }

Examples :

If x = 1 , y = 3 ,

  1. If point lies in First Quadrant then the Coordinates of the point ( 1,3 )
  2. If point lies in Second Quadrant then the Coordinates of the point ( -1,3 )
  3. If point lies in Third Quadrant then the Coordinates of the point ( -1,-3 )
  4. If point lies in Fourth Quadrant then the Coordinates of the point ( 1,-3 )
