The quadratic equation which has 'a' and 'b' roots is x^2 - (a+b)x + ab

Here, sum of zeroes is = a+b = -2

and product of zeroes = ab = -16

then

the equation will be

x^2 - (-2)x + (-16)

x^2 + 2x - 16
