It is shameful for a democratic country like India that children under 14 are being forced to work as domestic servants.

As many as 10 children, all belonging to lower castes have been employed as bonded labour in our locality.

On being questioned the houseowners have refused to give a suitable reply without any fear of the law enforcing agencies.

These children are working long hours from early morning till late night.

They are being forced to do all kinds of tasks such as toilet cleaning, washing utensils and lifting heavy loads.
