ABC School in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi, hosted the Zonal Cricket Tournament in its playground from February 18 to February 26. The tournament featured 25 public schools from throughout the country compete against one another.
Last Week, our school hosted an inter-school cricket tournament. Aside from our school, several other schools took part. There were four teams in all. There was a large crowd of students in the playground cheering on their various teams. The school was attractively decorated to welcome the participants, and the grounds were filled with a joyful atmosphere as the teams were applauded for their outstanding achievements. The final match was held on February 18th, 20XX between ABC Public School, XYZ and PQR Senior Secondary School. First, there was the toss, which our team happily won and opted to bat. Our captain ram and another player shyam made up the first pair. The first few deliveries were played with extreme caution by both of them. Our skipper then hammered a four to start the game. After that, they both appeared to be at ease on the crease.
The winning team and the man of the competition received medals and trophies. The school's principal expressed his heartfelt gratitude and best wishes. The chief guest praised the school for its professionalism in handling the event.
