CELEBRATION OF SARASWATI PUJA AT SCHOOL

Like every year this year too Saraswti Puja , the goddess of learning ,was worshipped at the school in a befitting manner with due honour and devotion. The school building was gorgeously decorated with lights and thermocal . The central stage where goddness Saraswati's idol was placed was adornrd with colourful flowers colours. The puja started with chanting of vedic mantras by worshipper and thereafter 'puspanjali'was started at around 9 am . most of the students of class 11 and few students of the class 12 were present there. Cultural programme and scientific model display were conducted in the school during puja days to make the puja days more colourful and enjoyable . Some teachers like Kunal Maity , Bimal Manna , Ram Maity, Sayan Dolui were as our guide . The light music of Rabindranath Tagore made the atmosphere idea for the puja . Students with fashionable attine visited the puja pandal in large number . Pandal hopping with friends on Saraswati Puja is a parctice over the years. Three puja days elapsed so quickly . At the end of third day the idol was immersed in Silaboti river with the beating of drums and bursting of crackers . Thus days of Saraswati Puja ended in a happy note.
