The 58th Republic Day was celebrated with much gaiety at Ryan International School, Kundalahalli. The programme began with a march past by members of the four houses followed by the school’s junior band. It was the first performance by the junior band and it put up a brilliant show.

DIG Prisons Jayaramaiah was the chief guest, while Col. S.B. Konnur and Pastor Daniel Devasahayan were the guests of honour. Col. Konnur unfurled the National Flag.

The prayer dance presented by the students brought out the true spirit of patriotism, while unity in diversity was the theme of the displays presented later. Col. Konnur encouraged the children and appreciated the initiative taken by the children in making the celebration a grand success. He spoke on the democratic idea of our founding fathers and reflected on the cultural diversity of India and also appreciated the perfect environment created at Ryan for the development of education. The guests handed over certificates to students for their special achievements.

We all have been children once and we do miss our time as we grow up and face the world outside. However, the occasion of children's day in our school is celebrated on 14th November 2018, with great enthusiasm to bring back those memories and energy back in life. This day is celebrated on the day when Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born and he too loved children. In our school this year also we celebrated children's day with vibrant energy. The event began with the speech from principal ma'am in which she shared few words about being a child. Then the program began by teachers performing prayers. Then the teachers performed a traditional dance wearing vibrant colors clothes. Later our non-staff members were dressed up as kids and performed an act. It was mesmerizing to watch such things. The program was followed by singing in which the singers cherished the childhood days. it was a fun-filled event.
