Metal salts commonly used in firework displays include: strontium carbonate (red fireworks), calcium chloride (orange fireworks), sodiumnitrate (yellow fireworks), barium chloride (green fireworks) and copper chloride (blue fireworks).

Fire crackers are very common things in India during festivals. Specially in Diwali and Dussehra.

Firecrackers are made with several chemical components.

The black gunpowder and the flash powder are the main components of any firecracker.

Gunpowder is usually a mixture of an oxidizer (potassium chlorate or perchlorate)and powdered metal like zinc or magnesium.

The type of spark is depended on the type of powdered metal.
