Yesterday I was invited to watch a volleyball match at the local stadium. It was a home game so my town, Molfetta, was playing against Trento, a team from the North of Italy. I had never been to watch volleyball before because it was not a very popular sport where I grew up. I had seen a football match before though and really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Although we arrived quite late, we managed to get a seat during the first set. We were in the front row so we were close to the players. They were all very tall. Molfetta’s team was dressed in white shirts whereas Trento’s players were wearing black. The downside was that we didn’t have a clear view of the net so we couldn’t really see where the ball was going. We went to stand up at the top of the stairs and had a much better view of the whole stadium.

The Grades 11 and 12 students participated in a variety of inter-house team sports from July to August 2022. Tournaments in volleyball and football were held from July 18 to July 20, basketball was held from July 21 to July 25, and cricket was planned from July 26 to August 2.
Each tournament presented our four great houses with a very intriguing challenge. With Subash Teesha and Monisha demonstrating their talent and making sure the event was absolutely lively, volleyball saw Tripti win first place, Anshika comes in second, and Tushar comes in third. In football, Tripti once more shone brightly by taking first place, closely followed by Avantika in second and Sameeksha in third. They were all prepared and had a winning run going. control each team in the inter-house competition. According to the basketball standings, Arpit finished third, Tanishka finally made an appearance, and Anshika took first place. Potential stars like Vidushi and Kritika lit up the competition in unthinkable ways by making baskets and dishing out assists. According to the Cricket results, Shikhar took the first position, Tejas was in second, and Anushika was third. With Nishant winning best player, Gaurav winning best bowler, Sagar winning best batsman, and Sparsh winning rising star, this competition was by far the most interesting. In comparison to prior years, the 2022 inter-house tournaments were unquestionably the most thrilling and were bursting with team spirit and togetherness.
