The special edition of the world’s cheapest car, the Tata Nano, was released on the 22nd of November 2012. According to Tata, this was their way of heralding the festive season.The special edition comes with features worth around Rs 25,000, but it was launched without a price hike.Currently, the car is priced as follows: Standard costs Rs 1,54,540; CX costs Rs 1,85,410; and LX costs Rs 2,13,706.The special edition will only be available in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Tripura.The special edition is a way of promoting the Nano.
