Artifacts discovered in Parsibagan

A farmer belonging to the Parsibagan, Kolkata accidentally discovered an artifact while plowing his field. He immediately contacted the archaeological department. A few hours later, several people with modernized equipment for excavation using various methods arrived. They were initially examining whether more artifacts could be located in that area. Later on, they started digging the area, which took around two to three hours.
The neighbors and other people from the locality gathered to see the excavation. Everybody was excited as this was their first experience of seeing the process of excavation in person. The archaeological department had discovered a few artifacts that according to them, might date back to thousands of years. This discovery will prove to be very useful to study the history of the place.
