Mumbai, October 20 :
 In a daring daylight robbery, jewellery worth Rs. 30 lakhs was looted from a jewellery store in the heart of the city yesterday afternoon. The robbery is the latest in the spate of robberies in the area. This incident occured in the premises of Pramanik Jewellers located in the posh Nutan Nagar area in Goregaon East. Around three in the afternoon, four well-dressed youths entered the showroom, pretending to be customers. For a while they looked at some ornaments, appearing to be interested in buying them. Suddenly two of them whipped out revolvers and held the owner and the staff at gun point. The other two smashed the glass cases and stuffed jewellery into an air bag. They then cut the telephone wires and fled in a waiting car. Nitin Jain, the owner, raised an alarm before summoning the police. He reported that jewels worth almost three millions were missing. A bank robbery took place at heart of the city yesterday night.It was a serious bank robbery in the city.

The no of bank robbery cases has increased in the city.Yesterday ,it took place at 9:30 pm. The customers were there in the bank.A  group of 4 men well dressed came . Just in a few minutes they robbed everything while  two men showed revolvers. A car was waiting outside and sat and went away.

The owner Kanish Jain said they took about 5 million  in cash in cash from the locker and some of the most precious jewels each worth 40-50 lakhs . The owner has lodged an FIR in police station and investigations are still going on.
