It's been reported that Police raided a Cracker factory in Nizamuddin area yesterday. The Police got a tip from someone that even after the Government banned production and selling of crackers, this factory was illegally producing crackers.
As Government, recently, in the wake of increased pollution level raised a notice of banning crackers production and selling of it, some factories are still producing crackers illegally. Yesterday, in Nizamuddin near Maruti Showroom, Police raided a factory which was alleged to be manufactoring crackers illegally. The owner is said to be missing from the spot but the workers were taken to the police station along with the manager of the factory. It is reported that the owner has ran away immediately after he got the news that his factory is being raided. Police are still searching for the owner. No action is taken against the workers but warning is issued to them.
