The annual sports day function started at 7 am in our school sports ground. The school organized a number of competitions for the annual sports day like 100m and baby marathon running. Javelin throw, relay and many other sports competition were organized too, participation from all classes was very good . At 7:30 am after a brief speech from our sports head, the programs started and we all participated with a lot of excitement. I won the baby marathon of 600m and 200m race and was very happy. A number of students performed very well and won multiple prizes. A total of 40 prizes were distributed by our honorable guest and principal sir with gifts like sports accessories and certificates. At 11:30 the program ended with lots of prizes and happy faces. At last we all participated in the closing ceremony of our annual sports day. The overall sports man award was given to Shalini who brought glory to the school by winning tennis competition at state level. We hope to see such healthy competing programs in near future too. We thank our school teachers and principal sir for giving us the opportunity to attend this beautiful competetion.

For the 25th year, our school held its annual sports day. The celebration was held in the school's roomy playground. The event's main guest was the Deputy Commissioner of Police. For the parents and students to sit in and enjoy the day, a sizable temporary sitting arena was built. The sports day featured participants from a variety of classes. The Vice-Principal and the Principal introduced "Kiki," the school mascot, before the day's activities got underway. The school's four houses each cheered for one of their individual members. At 9:30 a.m., the Deputy Commissioner of Police gave an opening speech and released a flock of pigeons into the skies to kick off the day's activities.
Along with the absent students, the parents also supported their kids. The contestants received rewards from the principal and the deputy police commissioner. Depending on how well each of the four houses' representatives performed during the competition, each was awarded points. For both parents and children, the school had planned refreshments. The Principal named the Best Sports Man and Woman to wrap up the day's activities. The Deputy Commissioner of Police presented a gift, a diploma, and a medal to the Best Sportsman and Woman. The Principal concluded by thanking everyone for coming and showing support and praising the children for their outstanding work.
