International Women's Day is celebrated in the world over, every year on the eight day of March. It
celebrates womanhood and pays tribute to the indomitable spirit of women across the globe. It's root
lies in the early 1900s when oppression and inequality was spurring women to become more vocal
and active in campaigning for change
women's day was celebrated with great pomp and ceremony in the colony .

during assembly the children presented the women with a very emotional song ," meri maa " the ladies were then led in prayer by the male persons who later presented a power - point highlighting the need to respect women and look into their every need and fullfill them on a priority basis . gender equality was highlighted under the theme " Be Bold For Change " the celebration came to an end with a sumptuous lunch and a very appreciative women .....
