Answer:

Severe Cyclone, West Bengal

Explanation:

On 11th June 2013, a severe cyclone running at 80km/hr was witnessed at 6:45 pm at the coastal areas of West Bengal that is: East Midnapore, Howrah, Hooghly, Burdwan, South 24 Parganas, and Kolkata. The cause of the cyclone was a depression in the Bay of Bengal. As a result, 60 people lost their lives while other families were rendered homeless after their properties were destroyed. On the other hand, train services were disrupted. The government, however, came to rescue and offered immediate relief to the affected masses.  The reason why tropical cyclones are prone to the Bay of Bengal is that the surface temperature is more than that of the Arabian sea.
