Visit to Jang E Azadi memorial

  • The Jang E Azadi memorial is located in Kartarpur of Punjab. It is built on a 25 Acre land and has a sprawling scenery. I, along with my friends went there as a part of a school trip. I should admit that this was one of the memorable experiences I will carry throughout my life.
  • We had a splendid display of the important pictures that describes the period of Indian Freedom struggle. The pictures had images of all important national leaders. Oil paintings of the important movements in history bought the scene in front of us.
  • The library sections had a display of thousands of collections written by famous authors. It is a must-watch section for all the book lovers and all those who want to take a deep dive into the history of freedom struggle.
