Report: A terrible bus accident was recorded on the night of 30th June, 2020 around 3am. It was reported that the driver fell asleep and the bus fell from the bridge causing huge loss of lives. The bus was heading to Mumbai from Kolkata and there were 57 passengers on board. 8 people were declared dead and 13 people suffered severe injuries along with the driver who were taken to the hospital nearby. As being told by the locals, the bus overspeeded and the driver lost control of his senses.
The police is investigating the case and the government has announced 1 lakh rupees for the injured and 2 lakhs for the family of those declared dead.
