Waliakumasalaam,

Sorry don't have a script as such. But at Sham-e-grabi in Bangalore, Alipur & Kanoodar (a town in Gujrat), a very touching skit is perfomed, repeating the gruesome scene that had taken place on the night of Ashoora.

The format of the skit is that we're all seated in a huge maidan. At one end is the maulana and at the other there are some 5 tents set up, with children in each of them. All lights are switched off to create the atmosphere of Sham-e-ghariba. There's a candle lit in each tent, so from outside, one can see shadows of the children upon the canvas of the tent.

As the maulana recites his majlis, certain scenes are repeated by the children. For eg, when the maulana mentions in his majlis that the children were crying out "Al-atash". Just then, all the children too simultaneously cry out "Al atash", "Al atash", "Al-atash". Similarly at various points of the majlist the cry out "Wa Abbasa" or "Wa Muhammada".

Similarly, when the maulana talks about the horses rushing to the tents, from one side of the maidan, horses come galloping and then they return. The highlight of the skit is, when the maulana speaks about the tents burning up, the organisers then quickly bring the children out of the tent and put it to fire, thereby reliving the whole scene just as it happened. The skit ends when a group of girsl come carrying food & water enacting the scene when Jinaab-e-Hur's wife comes to Bibi Zainab bringing food and water.

Attached are a few pcitures I was able to take from my phone. Since it was pitch dark and I was using my phone as a camera the quality of the pics is quite poor. However, you do get an idea of what's taking place.
