♡ My home state ♡
My home state is Goa. I'm a proud Goan. A state full of amazing beaches and beautiful churches, temples and mosques.
For people 'Goa' only means beaches, party, casino etc. Every year thousands of people come here as a tourist. we do follow the consept of "atithi devo bhav" which means guest is our god.
Goa also have some other awesome hidden places which people don't know about yet. they're best places if you are peace loving person.
when it comes to religion I can proudly say that we Goans never fight between religion. Hindu, Muslims and Christians live peacefully in this small state of Goa. As I am from North Goa Ganesh chaturthi, Diwali, lairai jatra are very popular festivals.
As Portuguese had ruled Goa for over 450 years. we do have some places where the buildings are made by Portuguese to beautify the capital of their Portuguese eastern Empire. We still use some of the Portuguese words in our day-to-day life which includes kadel means chair, patrav means boss and others.
