Well, there was a war between the US and Japan. So, USA dropped a bomb in  the twin cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The surprising thing about it is the fact that most of the people who died were common people, like children going to school, mothers cooking food for their children and so on. The effects of the atomic bomb was so strong that even today, its effects can be seen.Many children are born with disorders. Some are born without hands and legs.

During the final stage of World War II, the United States detonated two nuclear weaponsover the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively. The United States dropped the bombs after obtaining the consent of the United Kingdom, as required by the Quebec Agreement. The two bombings killed at least 129,000 people, most of whom were civilians. They remain the only use of nuclear weapons in the history of warfare.
