The practice of clearing a part of forest by cutting and burning vegetation for cultivation and then move to another part of forest when its fertility is exhausted is called shifting cultivation

Shifting cultivation is a process in which the farmer changes it's fleid in every one or two years because the fleid loses it fertility and the farmer also burn the trees which are grown in the another fleid because the ashes of the fire increase the fertility. but it is banned now a days because it has many disadvantaged some are/

1.Loss of land

2.It causes air pollution

but there are some advantages also/

1.Crop are grown very nicely

2.No need to use fertiliser or pesticides
