( 1 ) One group of Raikas known as the Maru ( desert ) Raikas , herded camels and another group reared sheep and goat . The Golla people are spread out different states of India . The Golla are land owners and a community that rears sheep and goats . Women are also involved in agriculture and animal husbandry .
( 2 ) Customary Rights . Rights which are acquired by custom . They differ from Prescriptive rights in this , that the former are local usages , belonging to all inhabitants of a particular place or district - the latter are rights of individuals , independent of the place of their residence .
( 3 ) Bharbar is the gently - sloping coarse alluvial zone below the Siwalik Hills ( outermost foothills of Himalaya ) where streams disappear into permeable sediments . The underground water level is deep in this region , then rises to the surface in the Terai below where coarse alluvium gives way to less permeable silt and clay
