  • There is a Council of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister to aid and advise the President in exercise of his functions.

Council of Ministers:

The council is collectively responsible to the Lok Sabha. It is the duty of Prime Minister to communicate to the President all decisions of council of minister relating to administration's of affairs of the union and proposal from information to relating them.

The Prime Minister is a senior - most member of cabinet in the executive of government in a parliament system. The Prime Minister select and the dismiss member of cabinet.
