Answer:

Adenosine triphosphate, also known as ATP, is a molecule that carries energy within cells. It is the main energy currency of the cell, and it is an end product of the processes of photophosphorylation (adding a phosphate group to a molecule using energy from light), cellular respiration, and fermentation.

Answer:

ATP stands for ADENOSINE TRIPHOSPHATE. It also called the energy currency of our cells.

Explanation:

Adenosine Triphosphate is synthesised in our mitochondria in our cells. Mitochondria converts oxygen and pyruvate into ATP molecules. What is pyruvate you ask? Well actually mitochondria doesn't actually use glucose molecules to make ATP's but first when a glucose molecule enters our cells it is broken from 6 carbon chained molecule (Glucose) into a 3 carbon chain molecule (Pyruvate) and is then that it is Converted into ATP using oxygen.
