Bastille prison stood for the despotic power of the king of France. People attacked their for the voting and other rights and also at that time the prices the bread risen rapidly This turned the people against them .

This was demolished by the members of people's militia ,on 14July 1789 .This building stood for the despotic power of the king of France.
