1. Bhoodan and Gramdan movements led by => Vinoba Bhave

2. To bring a change in India's land reform programmer this movemnt was an attempt as a “non-violent revolution”.

3. The motive of this movement was to urge the landed class to donate land on their own will to landless people.

4. Bhoodan started back in the year 1951 and Vinoba Bhave being the leader use to listen the problems faced by landless harijans in Pochampalli, Telangana.

5. Bhoodan Movement took birth when some land owing class helped in donation on their own will and also, the Central and State Government also provided help to Vinoba Bhave.

6. After Bhoodan , Gramdan movement began in the year 1952.

7. The main motive of Gramdan movement was a little bit different but , in this there was a village association which use to do egalitarian redistribution and joint cultivation of the given land by landowners and leaseholders on their own will and use to give full rights of that land to village association.

8. A village is approved to be a Gramdan when 75% of its people use to donate 51% of their land on their own will . Magroth was the first village to come under Gramdan and village is in Haripur , Uttar Pradesh.

9. The movement took a great momentum and was at pinnacle in the starting of the year 1969 and many laws were made to support this movement by Government

10. After 1969 Gramdan and Bhoodan lost its momentum because the donation of land on own will was turned into a Government supported programme .

11. Back in the year 1967, Vinoba Bhave left the movement which led to a massive loss of the movement

12. Whole movement was treated as an another idea from general scheme of development and landlords use to donate land which was under any dispute or unfit for cultivation . So , this movement was not continued back again.
