Black soil is the type of soil that is black in colour due to the excessive presence of humus in it. It is also known as cotton crop because it is good for the cultivation of cotton crop. Black soils are derivatives of trap lava and are spread. these are mostly clay soils and from deep cracks during dry seasons.
