Indian classical dances are of different styles and types according to the state for example Bharatanatyam is from Tamil Nadu and kathak is originated from Odisha .Bharatanatyam and kathak is one of the oldest style of classical dance and it has been taught in many schools.Competitions are also held and awards are given accordingly.
