Going to the history....In march 1946 the labour party govt. send a cabinet mission to india for framming a new constitution.The cabinet Mission was a unit of three cabinet ministers of England.With the initiative of the cabinet Mission, The Constituent Assembly was formed ajd its first ever sitting was held on 9th of December, 1946 .The senior member of the Constituent Assembly, Dr. Sachindananda Sinha presided over the first Sitting.Dr Rajendra Prasad was elected as the president of ghe constituent assemby.Altogether 11 sittings of the Constituent Assembly was held in the relation to the preparation of tge new constitution of india..The Constituent Assembly constituted a Drafting Committee on 29th August 1947.After a three years long rigorous labour,The drafting commitee prepared tge draft copy of the new constitution and handed over to its president..Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 26th bovember 1949..and therefore on 26th January 1950..The people of India got a new constitution for themselves.
