Explanation:

In today's conditions, the rupee, being a 'token coin', is virtually a 'note printed on silver'. In 1910 a great step forward was taken, and the law on the subject was consolidated but with a new act.  

Notes of Rs 10 and Rs 50 were universalized, and power was taken to universalize notes of higher denominations by executive order.  

In the implementation of this authority, notes of Rs. 100 were universalized in 1911.

  • All the currency notes in India have the photo of Gandhi Ji in them who is the father of the nation.

  • The currency notes are printed in a special kind of paper which no one knows.

  • Also the notes have a special line in the middle indicating that it is a genuine note. This line is very special it cannot be replicated.

  • They have a serial number at the end this serial number is a random generated number. It is located at the bottom right coroner.

  • The currency notes of India range from 5 rupees, 10 Rupees, 50 Rupees, 100 Rupees, 500 Rupees and 2000 Rupees.

  • The 500 Rupee note of India recently got updated.

  • The 2000 Rupee note is an absolute new note which has come it has replaced the 1000 Rupee note.

  • The reserve bank of India issues all the currency notes of India.
