▶ East India company started on 31Dec. 1600.

▶This is founded by john watts and his partner george white. main office of EIC is at London, great Britten. their products like Cotton, silk,salt, spices, saltpetre and tea. it running during British ruled india.

They got permission from queen of Britten Elizabeth.

East India Company was a private concern formed by some English merchants. They acquired from Queen Elizabeth I in 1600 the exclusive right to carry out trade with the East.

Sir Thomas Roe visited the Mughal court in 1615 and received many trade concessions from Emperor Jahangir.
