Defects of the eye: Myopia: (nearsightedness) This is a defect of vision in which far objects appear blurred but near objects are seen clearly. The image is focused in front of the retina rather than on it usually because the eyeball is too long or the refractive power of the eye's lens too strong.

there are mainly three types of eye defects
they are: Myopia, hypermetropia,and presbyopia
Myopia: shot sightedness , people who can see nearer objects clearly and cannot see far objects clearly this type of defect is called as myopia.
Hypermetropia: long sightedness, people can see farer objects clearly but can't see near objects.
presbyopia: it comes with ageing . and people cannot see nearer and farer objects clearly.
