In 1848, Frédéric Sorrieu, a French artist, prepared a series of four prints visualizing his dream of a world made up of ‘democratic and social Republics’.  It shows the peoples of Europe and America marching in a long train, and offering homage to the statue of Liberty as they pass by it. Than France reached this march and with that other counties too.

Frederic Sorrieu was an artist from France. In the year 1848, he developed a set of four pictures envisioning his dream of a world formed of ‘Democratic and Cultural Governments’. The most unique feature of these paintings was the men, nations and fables. The first print of the set represents men and women marching beyond the statue of Liberty offer tribute, where the statute is represented as holding a flare of enlightenment and the Charter of the rights of people. And eventually, the remains of the absolutist institutions can be seen cracked and fragmented on the Earth symbolizing the end of orthodoxy and absolutism.
