1️⃣ Jahangir revolted against Akbar, his father and became the Emperor of Mughal Empire in 1605 and he built a strong empire on his father’s foundation of strong administration which had the main characteristics of political stability, strong economy, cultural achievements etc.
2️⃣ He had special interests in painting and during his reign Mughal painting reached greater heights and he also promoted Persian culture throughout his empire.
3️⃣ He followed the policy of religious tolerance like that of Akbar, and he did not impose Jizya tax on Muslims.
