Hey there!

Liver is largest gland in human body and also largest organ in human body. It is located in right upper quadrant of abdominal cavity. The liver's is to filter the blood coming out from digestive tract. It secrets bile which helps in emulsification of fats during digestion. It is responsible for many processes which help to keep us alive.

It has 4 lobules i.e right ;left;quadrate and cuadate lobule.It is externally covered by liver capsule.Glisson's capsule seprates the lobules.Liver secretes no digestive enzymes. The space between basal surface which is at bottom and endothelial cells is know as perisinusoidal space or space of Disse.This space is site of exchange of materials between blood and cells.These are liver cells.

liver cells secretes bile juice into bile cappilaries.
